  • Dieline: A 2D template that shows cut and fold lines for a carton or other structure.
  • Substrate: The base material being printed or formed (e.g., board, film, plastic).
  • MOQ: Minimum order quantity a supplier will produce.
  • GSM / Caliper: Measures of board or paper weight/thickness.
  • Tray: A formed plastic or paper structure that holds a device or product.
  • Tyvek: A DuPont substrate commonly used for sterile medical packaging lids.
  • Transit Testing: Testing that simulates shipping conditions for packaging.
  • Sterile Barrier: The part of a packaging system that maintains sterility.
